About Me
MY NAME IS Shawntae
I live in Atlanta. I am an actor, music artist, and creative. I have a unique perspective because I previously engineered for a major recording label, starred in multiple film and television projects, and served as an editor on a film that has entered multiple film festivals.
The top questions people would have for me are: How did you do it? How can I achieve that? How can I pitch a story/content? How can you help me get in the industry? Can you give me feedback? How can you tell if a story is good? Can you help with the format? Can you help me with my project?
Most people don’t know that I’m also interested in and love reading, that I am spiritual and have a really strong faith, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and significant other, have a love for nature, animals, and I genuinely love seeing people succeed.
I’m determined to show up as the best version of myself because I struggled most of my life; I kept my faith and worked hard to teach myself not to become a victim to my circumstances; I am self-taught in areas that were not available to me; My mindset was to give an opportunity to those who have a similar struggle or obstacle. This is what keeps me focused on my goals.
